Overwhelmed and Worn Out: Battling Through the Blizzard, Determined for Solitude

As per the information from NoAnimalBehind, a compassionate individual came across a helpless dog that was paralyzed and struggling to move through the snowy terrain. The poor dog was visibly scared and traumatized, particularly by objects like brooms that resembled bats. Despite her fear, she had not given up on trusting humans.

Without hesitation, he reached out to the nearby animal shelter for assistance. Together, they transported her to the veterinary clinic for a CT scan. “Due to our inability to determine the cause of her immobility, we have decided to proceed with a CT scan at the veterinary clinic,” he explained.

Her name is ELLIE. “I could list a thousand reasons why I adore animals, but today I was truly moved by the paralyzed pup I rescued yesterday! As soon as I started showering her with kisses and hugs, she began to tear up,” shared the person who saved her. For the first time ever, she experienced the feeling of being loved.

After waiting five days, the CT scan results revealed that Ellie’s injury was not from a car accident. It seems she was struck with a heavy object, possibly a bat, that caused compression in her spine and led to her paralysis. This shedding light on why she has a fear of sweeping.

She is currently undergoing anti-inflammatory treatment and will probably require physiotherapy in order to regain her ability to walk. After just two weeks, a remarkable improvement is noted as Ellie is now able to walk once more. Each day she is making strides in her journey to walk independently again!

We went for a 20-minute walk outside before the physical therapy session, and she really impressed me with her performance!

Ellie is doing well now and has begun taking small steps. She is still undergoing treatment and receiving physiotherapy to aid in her recovery.
