His condition was critical, and he had ceased eating, suggesting that the tumor was causing his decline.
Midnight made it through the night and was promptly examined by the veterinarians who conducted blood tests, X-rays, and an ultrasound. Unfortunately, he has a host of health issues including hookworms, anemia, and malnourishment.
Additionally, due to his extremely low blood platelet count, surgeons were unable to proceed with the tumor removal surgery, as it posed a high risk of fatality for him.
They are pressed for time because his tumor is growing. They conducted various blood tests to determine the timing for his surgery.
Midnight is a unique boy who is beloved by all.
Midnight’s surgery went well, and the massive tumor, initially thought to be something else, was successfully removed. The tumor, which turned out to be a testicular tumor, weighed approximately 4.85 kilograms.
“Carrying that weight was tough on his small body, but I’m relieved it’s gone now. Midnight, who managed to walk a few steps post-surgery, has impressed us all.” said the veterinarian.
“We adore him and are committed to doing whatever it takes to support him.”
Midnight is on the road to recovery and will be available for adoption in a few days.
